Reusing packaging, sorting waste and planting trees are key elements to reduce the impact of environmental pollution on homes in Ecuador. (OR)

Especially in my home we proposed some measures that help to reduce the level of environmental pollution; and among them are the proper disposal of garbage and other waste, the sorting of bottles and other plastic packaging, glass packaging and cans.

Also, be careful not to light bonfires because they can cause carbon dioxide.

As citizens, we should plant trees, because besides giving us freshness and protecting us from the sun with their shade, they also give us more oxygen.

It seems to me that if we all do our part to reduce the level of environmental pollution, we will achieve cleaner air and a less polluted atmosphere on our planet. (OR)

For my part, I collect organic waste and deliver it weekly to a recycling company. Also, since I read a lot, I only do it electronically. Since the pandemic, I have approximately 300 books on my tablet. Plus, I sort through my trash; I reuse certain containers, especially plastic, glass, cardboard and some fabrics. Finally, I try to avoid buying products packaged in plastic or glass. (OR)

In my home, we try to be aware of what we consume on a daily basis. We have different waste bins for plastic, cardboard and paper that we recycle at the green points. We also keep appliances and other electrical devices off when not in use, as well as lights that don’t need to be on. (OR)

We reuse covers and use water and light intelligently. (OR)

Reduce your use of plastic by using fabrics or glass. The materials are sorted into plastic, glass and cardboard, which are delivered to recycling centers. Lithium batteries are separated for disposal at disposal sites. Conscious use of electric light, lights are turned on only when needed. We try not to waste water, take short showers and rarely wash clothes. (OR)
