Pobeda Airlines fined for cheating a client in Tatarstan

The Pobeda airline paid a fine for deceiving one of the passengers on the Kazan – St. Petersburg flight, who later complained to Rospotrebnadzor about the actions of the air carrier.

As it turned out, the man, having bought a ticket on the official website of “Victory”, paid for three pieces of luggage at once for 4 thousand 497 rubles, since he was transporting fencing equipment. However, at the airport he was denied baggage transportation, KazanFirst reports.

Later, Rospotrebnadzor established that the indicated tariffs were not available on the company’s website, and the consumer was not informed about the additional payment for the transportation of fencing equipment as special baggage.

Let us also recall that in May of this year, an unpleasant incident occurred with two wheelchair users while traveling from Moscow to Kaliningrad. The chairman of the Tver club of wheelchair users “Kristall” Andrei Uvikov and his acquaintance airline “Pobeda” refused to let them on board. As a result, the passengers spent half a day at the Vnukovo airport. They also had to buy new tickets – already for a UTair flight – to fly to Kaliningrad.

The founder and head of the charitable foundation for the support of wheelchair users, the poor, patients with many children and cancer patients Marina Leonovich accused the airport workers of indifference and negligence. “The guys have been flying in these wheelchairs for about 10 years, there were no problems. The guys remained at the airport exhausted and humiliated, ”she wrote on her Facebook.
