Kommersant: Ministry of Construction wants to fine Russians for non-transparent rental of housing – Rosbalt

The Russian authorities have found a way to whitewash the spontaneous rental market, from which the budget receives less than 162 billion rubles. in year.

The Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation has prepared a bill on the creation of a special state information system (GIS), where landlords must register all contracts for the lease of apartments, apartments and parking spaces, the Kommersant newspaper reports.

As the newspaper notes, it is assumed that the parties will have to make all calculations through this online application. Otherwise, citizens face a fine of up to 5 thousand rubles, and legal entities – up to 50 thousand rubles.

Meanwhile, experts fear that the mandatory requirement to use GIS will have the opposite effect: Russians will continue to hide information.

Let us also recall that earlier Oksana Polyakova, deputy director of the apartment rental department at INKOM-Real Estate, told PRIME how to rent an apartment at a higher price.

According to her, the lower the cost of this object, the higher the profitability from renting out an apartment. This rule should be remembered by Russians who plan to purchase living space for rent. At the same time, good transport accessibility is very important – for most tenants this is a priority factor.
