Indian professor intends to participate in the elections of the rector of Tver State Medical University

Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Kamruzzaman Syed became the first to officially announce plans to take part in the elections of the rector of TSMU. As Rosbalt learned, the professor has already begun collecting the necessary documents to submit to the election commission.

“University employees interested in its development contact me with a request to submit documents for the position of rector. I have succeeded as a businessman, I am known in many countries of the world, and I am not running for elections for the sake of a rector’s salary or any other benefits. Tver Medical University is an important part of my life. I received a higher education here, defended my PhD and Doctor of Medical Sciences degrees, became a leader, and made friends. Therefore, participation in the elections of the rector is a matter of principle for me. If the staff honors me and elects me as rector of the university, I promise to put into practice my rich experience in the field of exporting Russian education and make TSMU a leader in this regard in the Russian Federation. I guarantee to all employees of TSMU, who professionally and completely devote themselves to their work, that I will provide a comfortable atmosphere in the team without squabbles and intrigues. Only together, only in unison, will we become the leading medical university in Russia,” Saied commented on his decision to become a candidate for the position of rector.

Zaman Alievich Sayed – Doctor of Medical Sciences, author of more than 60 published works and three teaching aids. Born on April 12, 1974, citizen of the Russian Federation. In 2000 he graduated from the Tver State Medical Academy, where he worked for more than 15 years. He held the positions of deputy dean for work with foreign students, professor of the department of public health and healthcare.
Dr. Syed is the owner of several international educational institutions, such as Lincoln American university Guyana (Republic of Guyana, South America), Victoria university of Barbados (Barbados, Central America) and Armenian-Russian International University (Republic of Armenia). In addition, Zaman Syed is the founder and director of Center for International Education LLC. Today, more than half of all Indian students studying in Russia are sent through the Center.
