The country went astray when the application of constitutional guarantees degenerated into justice. Unreasonableness is imposed taking into account political interests, the main goal of which is impunity for the perpetrators of corruption acts confirmed by documented evidence.
There is a clear plan in favor of impunity and revision of sentences, with the cooperation of certain judges and the action of the administrative and disciplinary body, which protects bad judicial employees, who violate the express law (the Yaguachi and Montecristi cases), but prosecutes judges who act against the protagonists of corrupt acts. They want to remove him from office by force, illegally, undermining procedures and violating the Law on Justice.
The only agenda is impunity, which is joined by judges and officials of the administrative and disciplinary body, with the support of judicial leaders who, during working hours, in which they should manage judicial processes, of which thousands have been closed, go to the support of those who grossly violated legal norms with decisions which favor other judges who extend their mandate to nine years, with the clear aim of solving political pressures. Time will tell which of these judges will reconsider the sentences in favor of their mentors.
Instead of speeding up the processes, they do everything to obstruct justice when the majority of members of the judiciary are being prosecuted and therefore shamelessly want to eliminate the judges who will try them.
Electoral justice, a shame when it cannot sanction violations of the law despite the evidence and evidence of candidates who came to SZKP with the patronage of a political movement, which is prohibited by current regulations.
The Constitutional Court, the guarantor of fundamental rights, should act with greater zeal to punish and dismiss without delay the judges and officials (CCCCS and CNJ) who are making a mockery of the country by trying to review resolutions that are protected not only by the CC, but also by the people’s mandate in 2018. Even the majority of that Council dared to illegally approve and order investigations into the appointment of the Attorney General, in charge of the Transitional Council, which cannot be reviewed according to the legal and popular mandate, and is therefore a flagrant offense that must be punished to the fullest extent of the law, dismissal, and even criminal proceedings. The verification order cannot be postponed when the violations are clear.
We have reached a moment of degradation of institutions when those who are called to be guardians of constitutional guarantees and punish illegalities and arbitrariness delay decisions and protect rule breakers and thus favor the roadmap of impunity and revision of sentences. Lawyers and citizens must react to this macabre plan that is at work, with the cooperation, by act or omission, of venal judges and deranged officials. (OR)
