The border regions of Russia survived another day under heavy shelling

Dozens of live shells were fired into the Belgorod region, which borders Ukraine. The head of the region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, announced this on Telegram.

Thus, according to his information, 44 arrivals were recorded in the Belgorod region – in the villages of Krasny Khutor, Shchetinovka, Zhuravlevka. According to the latter, an explosive device and two fragmentation munitions were also dropped from the UAV.

Another 16 shells arrived in the Valuysky urban district – the villages of Verigovka and Stary Khutor were fired from Grad MLRS, mortars and cannon artillery. As a result, seven private houses and a store were damaged. 8 shells were recorded in the Grayvoronsky urban district – in the villages of Zarechye-Pervoye, Dronovka, Kozinka, as a result of which two private residential buildings were damaged. In the Krasnoyaruzhsky district, the outskirts of the village of Vyazovoe came under artillery fire – 4 arrivals were recorded, and in the Shebekinsky urban district – 35 arrivals: in the villages of Novaya Tavolzhanka, Surkovo, Krasnoye, and the Shebekino checkpoint.

There was also unrest in the Kursk region. There, as a result of shelling of the village of Tetkino in the Glushkovsky district, a woman was wounded, the region’s governor, Roman Starovoit, reported on his Telegram channel. According to him, the victim was hospitalized with moderate injuries to the district hospital. The head of the region clarified that 21 shells fell in the village, one of them hit a residential building, after which a fire started. In total, 11 houses were damaged.
