North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu arrived on the Pacific Fleet frigate Marshal Shaposhnikov in Vladivostok.
The guest, who has been in the Russian Federation on an official visit since September 12, was shown the Uran anti-ship missile systems and the Kalibr universal cruise missile systems, as well as the 100-mm A-19 automatic artillery mount, TASS reports.
The frigate Marshal Shaposhnikov, built in the mid-1980s as a large anti-submarine ship of Project 1155, has recently undergone a deep modernization and has become a universal ship capable of fighting ground, surface and underwater targets. It is equipped with the latest navigation equipment, including the GLONASS system.
Prior to this, at the Knevichi airfield in Primorye, Kim Jong-un was shown three strategic aircraft of the Aerospace Forces – the Tu-160 supersonic strategic missile-carrying bomber, the Tu-95MS turboprop strategic missile-carrying bomber and the Tu-22M3 long-range supersonic missile-carrying bomber.
Earlier, Shoigu showed the North Korean leader the Kinzhal hypersonic complex.
Let us recall that on September 15, Kim Jong-un arrived in Komsomolsk-on-Amur, where he inspected Russian aircraft factories.
