Around a ton of drugs was found early this Wednesday in a house located in the Urdesa citadel, in the north of Guayaquil.
According to the Police, upon noticing the presence of the uniformed men, the driver of a vehicle performed evasive maneuvers at the control. Faced with that, the agents followed the car and reached the property where the driver intended to enter.
The car, according to the Police, had a hidden bay-type compartment with substances subject to control.

Meanwhile, firearms and several packages were found in the house. In addition, three people were apprehended there who were taken to the Prosecutor’s Office, reported Ecuavisa.
The uniformed officers commented that these people were guarding the detected substance. Apparently the house was rented to store the drugs.
