A teenager armed with a knife wounded four people near a school in the Rostov region. The boy came to school wearing a mask, when he was stopped at the entrance, he took out a knife, the local education department reported.
As a result of the attack, a grandfather, who was accompanying his first-grader granddaughter in the morning, as well as two women, a teacher and a watchman, were injured. The panic button went off, but by the time the squad arrived, the boy had already been detained – teachers and parents of the children had to restrain him, 161.RU reports.
The students were on the second floor; psychologists are now working with them.
The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case against the student under the article of attempted murder. It is clarified that the teenager could be in a “painful” condition. Friends described the boy as a reserved and non-conflict person. According to them, the teenager had difficulties communicating and had poor relationships with other people.
“He was a member of the Youth Army and did not use social networks. I couldn’t speak normally; my speech impediment was serious. He could come up and say: “Don’t trip on the ceiling.” And then he imposed himself. “Incomprehensible communication, but I felt sorry for him,” said a classmate of the attacker, the media writes. According to acquaintances, the teenager studied well, but did not tolerate criticism well – “he turned all red, twitched and became hysterical” if he received a bad grade.
Earlier, the head of the region, Vasily Golubev, reported that the emergency occurred at 07:50 Moscow time in the Krasny Desant farm, Neklinovsky district.
