The Moscow City Election Commission reported repelling hacker attacks that prevented people from receiving SMS for electronic voting

All DDoS attacks on operators, due to which Muscovites experienced difficulties in receiving SMS to participate in remote electronic voting (DEG), have been completely repelled, said Olga Kirillova, Chairman of the Moscow City Election Commission. “At the moment, the attacks have been repelled, the system is fully operational,” she said.

Let us remind you that from 8:00 in the capital there is voting for the election of the mayor of the city and deputies of 13 municipalities of the TiNAO. Citizens who are permanently registered in Moscow can vote at polling stations, as well as remotely. In the latter case, you will need a full account on the mos.ru portal. It is noteworthy that you can also take part in the DEG at the polling station – through a special terminal. This method is new this year.

Voting will last until 20:00 on September 10. Polling stations are open from 8:00 to 20:00, and you can vote online at any convenient time before the voting deadline.

Five candidates are vying for the post of mayor of Moscow, whose names are listed on the ballot in alphabetical order: Dmitry Gusev (deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, nominated by the party “A Just Russia – For Truth”), Vladislav Davankov (deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, nominated by the party “New People”), Leonid Zyuganov (Moscow City Duma deputy, nominated by the Communist Party of the Russian Federation), Sergei Sobyanin (current mayor of Moscow, nominated by the United Russia party), Boris Chernyshov (State Duma deputy of the Russian Federation, nominated by the LDPR party).
