Family members of Washington Darwin Nazareno Mideros, brother of Miguel Ángel Nazareno, known as Don Naza, formally denounced his kidnapping at the Prosecutor’s Office.
The alleged kidnapping occurred on the Buena Fe-Quevedo road, near a service station, where the victim was preparing to refuel the vehicle he was driving.
There were four men who, under threats, intercepted him and intimidated him with firearms, and then loaded him into a gray vehicle in which they were mobilizing.

In a video that circulates on social networks, it is observed that an individual gets into the victim’s vehicle, on the passenger side, and reviews some documents. Seconds later the other men arrive who get him out of the vehicle, from which they also take out a backpack.
The Prosecutor’s Office confirmed yesterday that it is the brother of Miguel Ángel Nazareno, owner of the Big Money platform, who was operating in Quevedo illegally and for whom two legal proceedings were opened for alleged illegal capture of money and massive fraud.
Miguel Nazareno’s wife is also linked to these legal proceedings, as well as a third person identified as Dayana S.
“With the complaint from the family members of the citizen that is observed in the video of the gas station where the incident occurred, it is confirmed that Washington Nazareno, brother of the leader of Big Money, is indeed kidnapped,” said Los Ríos provincial prosecutor, Karina Gianopatín .

Colonel Jorge Cevallos, chief of the special Los Ríos Zone 5, stated that the alert to the Police was given on Monday afternoon, for an alleged robbery of a service station, but that when observing the videos of the cameras installed in the business realized that it was a kidnapping.
“Upon reviewing the vehicle, we were able to preliminarily identify the kidnapped citizen, there were documents from a company related to sales of cleaning products, as well as invoices and collection receipts,” he said.
The victim was the one who was driving the truck and was accompanied by another citizen, who had already taken the version. (I)
