Police officers await the result of the autopsy to determine if it was a suicide or a violent death.
A young man was found dead inside a clandestine drug addiction treatment center. The site is located on 1st street in the Colinas del Hipódromo sector, in West Mapsingue, north of the city.
Police personnel learned of the news at 05:40 on Tuesday 7 after a representative of the site mobilized to the nearby police post to alert of the finding.
Upon arrival at the site, the uniformed officers found that in a shower area the body of the young man was on the floor with cords tied around his hands and neck. The young man was identified as alias The Marilyn.
A police server indicated that, according to the version of those who found the body, the body had previously been suspended.
This morning, after 09:00, a Forensic Medicine vehicle moved the body to the morgue located on Av. Rodríguez Bonín, in the west.
Due to the conditions of the death, police officers awaited the result of the autopsy to determine if it was a suicide or a violent death.
Several relatives of people who were treated for addictions crowded in the vicinity of the clandestine center waiting for news of their relatives, because inside police agents continued the investigations to clarify the fact.
After the event, Acess personnel, attached to the Ministry of Health, verified the conditions of the place and placed a closure stamp on one of the entrances. (I)
