Villages in the Belgorod region bordering Ukraine were again subjected to massive mortar and drone attacks. This was announced by the head of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov in Telegram.
According to the governor, during the day in the Volokonovsky district, the outskirts of the Stary farmstead were fired from a mortar – three arrivals were recorded. In Graivoronsky urban district, 14 mortar shells were fired at the village of Kozinka, as a result, 11 private residential households, a power line and partly a gas pipeline were damaged. Emergency crews cleared the damage. An enemy UAV was shot down in the village of Antonovka. Also in the Krasnoyaruzhsky district, two and six artillery shells were fired, respectively, on the outskirts of the villages of Staroselye and Kolotilovka. The outskirts of the village of Vyazovoe also came under artillery fire – 4 arrivals were recorded, as a result, the power line was damaged.
Gladkov added that in the Belgorod region in the village of Solntsevka, fragmentation ammunition was dropped from an UAV, in the Borisov region, on the outskirts of the Klimovoye farm, a fragmentation grenade shot was recorded from a drone. An enemy quadcopter was shot down in the Valuysky urban district in the village of Logachevka, and an aircraft-type UAV was shot down in the village of Verigovka.
In the Shebekinsky urban district, 7 mortar shells were fired at the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka, three mortar shells were fired at the villages of Sereda and Murom, and one mortar shell was fired at the Maryino farm. Also, the Armed Forces of Ukraine fired at the outskirts of the village of Vyazovoe, Krasnoyaruzhsky district. As a result, the power line was damaged, and residents of the villages of Vyazovoe and Ilek-Penkovka were left without electricity.
A day earlier, Gladkov reported the death of a resident of the Graivoronovsky district, as well as the wounding of a woman.
