Estonian Prime Minister Kaya Kallas received a gift from the Ukrainian military. She herself announced this on social networks.
According to Kallas, Ukrainian soldiers from the 24th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine handed her a cup made from an artillery shell “as a token of gratitude.”
The cup is made from a 120mm artillery shell. Kallas noted that the gift was brought to her by Marko Mihkelson, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Estonian Parliament, who returned from Kyiv to Tallinn on September 1.
“Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, we continue to support Ukraine until the very victory,” the Prime Minister of Estonia added, the quote is quoted by Gazeta.ru.
Earlier, a scandal erupted in Estonia due to the suddenly revealed fact of cooperation with Russia by Stark Logistics, which is associated with the country’s Prime Minister Kaya Kallas. The share in this firm belongs to the politician’s husband Arvo Hallik. It was noted that Stark Logistics continues to cooperate with Russian companies, importing various cargoes to Russia. Callas herself said that until recently she did not know anything about her husband’s business in Russia. According to her, her husband’s company ceases its activities in Russia. Currently, cooperation continues with only one Estonian company, which is leaving the Russian Federation.
