The Ecuadorian Army is investigating the death of Second Lieutenant Mauricio Alejandro Salazar Luna, a fact that occurred on the afternoon of this Monday 6 at the facilities of the Special Forces Group 53 Rayo, stationed in the Lago Agrio canton, Sucumbíos province.
This entity speaks of a possible suicide. The second lieutenant was found dead in a room. In his body they evidenced a wound produced by a projectile from a pistol-type firearm supplied by the Army, at the height of his head.
