According to a police report, four men accosted the victim when he was loading gasoline into the truck he was driving.

As Darwin Nazareno Mideros, the man who was allegedly kidnapped this Monday afternoon at a gas station in Quevedo, in Los Ríos, was identified.

According to a police report, he is the brother of Miguel Ángel Nazareno, owner of the platform Big Money, which was operating in Quevedo illegally, according to the Prosecutor’s Office, which opened two legal proceedings for alleged illegal capture of money and massive fraud.

The alleged kidnapping occurred on the Buena Fe – Quevedo road, near a service station where the victim was preparing to refuel the vehicle he was driving.

There were four men who, under threats, intercepted him and intimidated him with firearms, and then loaded him into a gray vehicle in which they were mobilizing.

In a video that circulates on social networks, it is observed that an individual gets into the victim’s vehicle, on the passenger side, and reviews some documents. Seconds later the other men arrive who got him out of the vehicle, from which they also took out a backpack.

Two of the four alleged kidnappers ran through the gas station, shot in the air to intimidate the dispatcher of the business and took the money from the sale of the day.

Evidence

Once the police were alerted to the incident, they conducted a routine inspection of the truck in which the victim was traveling. Inside the vehicle they found documents, such as receipts, related to the purchase of cleaning materials where the names of the kidnapped appear.

The vehicle from which Nazareno was taken is not in his name, but that of another person known to the Police, but for safety reasons it is not mentioned. (I)
