The Ministry of Justice recognized political scientist Rogov and journalist Eggert as foreign agents

The Ministry of Justice recognized Konstantin Eggert, a journalist, ex-editor-in-chief of the Moscow bureau of the BBC Russian service and a laureate of the Russian government’s media award (as acting editor-in-chief of Kommersant FM), as a foreign agent.

“Eggert took part in the creation and distribution of messages and materials of foreign agents to an unlimited circle of people, opposed the special military operation in Ukraine,” the department’s rationale says.

Also foreign agents were:

editor-in-chief of the Diletant magazine and former deputy editor-in-chief of Ekho Moskvy Vitaly Dymarsky – for creating and distributing materials of foreign agents and spreading fakes about the actions of the Russian authorities and the army;

economist Mikhail Krutikhin – for creating and distributing materials of foreign agents, speaking out against the special operation, spreading fakes about the actions of the authorities and the army, receiving support from foreign sources;

political scientist Kirill Rogov – for creating and distributing materials of foreign agents, speaking out against the special operation, spreading fakes about the actions of the authorities, as well as participating “as a respondent on information platforms provided by foreign media”;

the head of the Circassian public organization “Khabze” Martin Kochesokov – for the distribution of materials of foreign agents and calls to violate the territorial integrity of Russia;

blogger, author of a telegram channel about history and politics Alexander Shtefanov – the same rationale as Rogov’s;

NGO journalist Olga Romanova, who headed the “Rus Sitting” foundation (recognized as a foreign agent), MRR-Fund gemeinnützige UG (haftungsbeschränkt), which implements the My Russian Rights project – for spreading fakes about the actions of the authorities, speaking out against the special operation;

the Vladimir edition of “Argument” – the same justification as Dymarsky, plus for speaking out against the military operation.

Recall, earlier it was reported that the Ministry of Justice excluded RS-Balt JSC, the founder of the Rosbalt news agency, from the register of foreign agents.
