Investigators opened a criminal case against the Deputy Ministry of Health of the Samara Region on suspicion of taking a bribe on an especially large scale, the press service of the regional Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation reports.
According to investigators, last year the suspect demanded 15 million rubles from the director of one of the organizations for concluding contracts for the supply of medical equipment totaling more than 147 million rubles. In 2023, the director, acting within the framework of an agreement, transferred to the suspect through a third party part of the bribe in the amount of 8 million rubles, the investigation believes.
“In the summer of 2023, the director of the organization, already acting within the framework of the operational-search measure “Operational Experiment”, taking the conspiracy measures proposed by the suspect, transferred to him through other persons the remaining part of the bribe in the amount of 7 million rubles,” the report says.
A criminal case against the Deputy Minister was initiated under Part 6 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (taking a bribe on an especially large scale) based on the materials of the audit of the Federal Security Service and the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Samara Region.
As reported, in early August, Deputy Minister of Health of the Samara Region Aslanbek Mayramukaev was arrested for two months.
