Former FSB officer, transgender girl Katerina Myers was fined 300 thousand rubles in the case of state secrets, the court session was held behind closed doors, RBC reports citing her lawyer Konstantin Erokhin.

Before the transition, the girl was the captain of the border service Alexander Chumakov, who served in the FSB for 12 years, working in the North Caucasus. In the department, she was engaged in analytical work related to extremist and terrorist materials on the Internet, and “working with journalists,” wrote Znak. She began taking gender reassignment drugs in 2020, after which she faced pressure at work. After her dismissal from the FSB, the girl became a makeup artist.

In March, Myers’ home was searched in connection with an attempt to travel abroad, and she was interrogated by the FSB. She is considered a bearer of state secrets, in connection with which she is banned from traveling abroad until 2026. Myers complained about the bullying on the Internet by transphobes.
