Mass mortar shelling of the Belgorod region led to casualties

The Belgorod region was massively shelled from mortars. There are victims, said the head of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov in the Telegram channel.

So, the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka in the Shebekinsky urban district came under mortar fire – 6 arrivals. As a result, a local resident died – the man received shrapnel wounds to the chest and spine, multiple fractures of the ribs. Two more people were injured: a woman is in the hospital, who was taken to the hospital with shrapnel wounds to her arm, neck and head, and a man who received a concussion.

In addition, on approaching the city of Shebekino, an enemy drone was shot down by an air defense system – a private house, a car and two garages were damaged, Gladkov added. According to him, 10 mortar shells were fired at the village of Murom, two at the Pankov farm, and three mortar shells at the Shebekino checkpoint.

The governor noted that in the Belgorod region, 11 artillery shells were fired at the village of Zhuravlevka, 4 at the village of Solntsevka, and one explosive device was dropped from a drone in the village of Shchetinovka. The village of Krasny Khutor also came under fire from a grenade launcher – 22 shots were recorded. The enemy fired 10 artillery shells at the village of Nekhoteevka and dropped one explosive device from the UAV.

The village of Butyrki in the Valuysky urban district also came under fire – 7 arrivals from cannon artillery. Two mortar shells were fired in the Volokonovsky district on the outskirts of the Stary farm, and in the Graivoron urban district, the village of Pochaevo came under fire, 19 mortar shells were fired on the outskirts of the village of Spodaryushino, and two mortar shells were fired on the outskirts of the villages of Mokraya Orlovka and Kozinka. ⠀

The village of Popovka, Krasnoyaruzhsky District, also came under fire. As a result, there is damage in one private household – the roof is pierced, the facade of the building and the fence are cut.
