The Moscow Court in the framework of the case of tax evasion by blogger Elena Blinovskaya arrested assets worth about 64 billion rubles. This was reported to TASS by lawyer Natalya Salnikova.
According to her, most of these companies do not belong to Blinovskaya and are not related to her criminal case.
The defender also noted that the Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation has not yet published data on the exact amount of damage in the case. Salnikova explained that the amount of 918 million rubles, which appeared in the charge in the case, does not correspond to the assessment of the tax service. At the same time, Blinovskaya has so far paid 55 million rubles out of the amount of the damage imputed to her.
On August 9, the Presnensky Court of Moscow seized 12 bank accounts, 54 current accounts, four luxury cars, a motorcycle, a motor boat, a jet ski and seven trailers for cars in the case of a blogger and her husband.
Blinovskaya’s house arrest, which she is serving in a house in the Millennium Park cottage settlement in the Istra District, has been extended until October 26. Blinovskaya’s husband is accused of complicity in tax evasion.
