Quito: These are the vaccination points enabled against COVID-19 during Saturday 4, Sunday 5 and Monday 6 December

The capital lives its festivals and the authorities call for self-care.

The capital of Ecuadorians is celebrating its 487 years of foundation with the responsibility of maintaining biosecurity measures and the global risk in the face of the spread of the omicron variant of SARS-CoV-2, which causes COVID-19.

The authorities have made a call to comply with biosafety protocols, although in recent hours excessive celebrations have spread on public roads where crowds and the non-use of masks were evidenced.

Two mechanisms would verify that public sector workers are vaccinated

The vaccination points will work on these days, including Monday, December 6, which is a holiday for Quito. The Ministry of Health announced the points to which citizens can go:

Who should be vaccinated on those days?

People who have not yet been inoculated with a dose against COVID-19, those who have not completed their two-dose schedule, and people who have already completed more than six months with the full schedule.

This Saturday those who received their second dose on June 4 should come for their booster doses, on Sunday those who completed the scheme on June 5 should attend and those on June 6 on Monday.

Those who were vaccinated abroad can also receive their booster dose. (I)
