In the Parque de la Mujer, located in the north of the city, the musical festival “Viva el Planeta Quito 2021” was held
Due to the 487 years of the founding of Quito, in the Parque de la Mujer, located in the north of the city, the musical festival “Viva el Planeta Quito 2021” was held. This youth event was attended by musical bands, comedy, traditions and dance.
This event takes place on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 December 2021 and it is completely free, But the capacity allowed by the national COE, which is 1,000 people, will be respected and, in addition, all biosafety regulations will be met.
The presentations start at 12:00 and last until around 17:00.
We participated in the event “Long live the Planet Quito 2021”, within the framework of the festivities this initiative seeks to motivate the community through culture and art to take care of the environment and build a sustainable future.

This concert is expected to present 18 local artistic proposals such as Swing original Monks, Papá Chongó, Guardaraya, Guanaco MC, Mamá Vudú and Lolabum. In addition, there will be a space for humor by José Pacheco and Pancho Viñachi; too, Village bands, dance with the group Ballet Andino Humanizarte and Habits of Coexistence will be presented.
It should be noted that during the two days that this event lasts, a special container will be strategically placed, so that citizens can voluntarily deposit their electronic devices (damaged or unused). (I)
