The danger of new attacks on the Crimean bridge remains. This was stated by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov, commenting on reports of the discovery of traces of explosives in one of the bulk carriers heading to Rostov-on-Don and which had previously been banned from passing under the Crimean bridge, Interfax reports.
“Indeed, the discovered traces of explosives indicate that there is a danger. This requires a constant level of increased vigilance,” Peskov said, adding that ensuring the security of the Crimean bridge requires the most careful measures and verification activities that are carried out by the relevant authorities.
Peskov also spoke about the new drone attack in Moscow. He stated that all “drones” were neutralized. “Measures are being taken in this regard,” Peskov stressed, acknowledging that attempts to attack Russian regions have increased in recent days. At the same time, the presidential press secretary forwarded questions to the Ministry of Defense and experts about how effectively the protection system against UAVs in Moscow worked.
