The South African government has officially applied for an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin. This, according to “Kommersant”, said the leading opposition party of South Africa “Democratic Alliance”. As specified, she sought through the courts to enforce the March decision of the International Criminal Court on the arrest of the Russian leader.

Recently, the national prosecutor of South Africa received an official request from the Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Development to issue a warrant for the arrest of the President of the Russian Federation.
