The Government of Manabí announced the operational plan to be developed in this province during the next Christmas holidays and the end of the year.
Thus, the forces of order and control institutions have already defined their axis of action and the number of personnel they will have during these days of rest at the end of this month.
The plan began to be designed since last November 15 with the purpose of providing security to the inhabitants of this province and the thousands of Ecuadorians who will travel to the 22 Manabi cantons on those dates, said Juan Francisco Núñez, governor of the province .
The National Police of Ecuador will have 1,735 personnel at Christmas and 1,755 personnel at the end of the year; while from the ECU-911 Integrated Service, monitoring will be carried out through the 537 cameras installed in the province.
The Ministry of Public Health will work with 4,318 health professionals in 4 general hospitals, 7 basic hospitals, 14 health centers with 24-hour care, 15 health centers with 8-hour care and 31 ambulances.
The National Transit Agency (ANT) will carry out operations in land terminals and in the state road network with 303 members.
The Ministry of Transportation and Public Works will be activated by technical personnel, equipment and machinery operators from the institution; In addition, it will have the support of contracted companies that carry out work on the state road network.
Núñez emphasized that citizens are asked to continue applying biosafety measures, the use of a mask, disinfection and assist in applying the vaccine.
Regarding the work that will be deployed even after the cessation of the last state of exception, which will end on December 18, Núñez indicated that in Manabí the work coordinated between the National Police and the Armed Forces will continue, and even a pilot plan will not be implemented. only to review weapons and controls to illegal activities, but also to improve patrolling in the streets of the Manabi cantons.
