Eleven trains are moving with a delay in the Crimean direction due to an emergency on the bridge, said the railway operator Grand Service Express (GSE).
“Tavria trains from Crimea and to Crimea follow with a delay. Due to the state of emergency, several trains are delayed on the Crimean bridge, ”the company’s Telegram channel reports.
Seven trains are delayed in the direction of Crimea: Volgograd-Simferopol, Moscow-Evpatoria, Rostov-Simferopol, two trains Moscow-Simferopol, St. Petersburg-Evpatoria and Murmansk-Sevastopol. Four trains are delayed from Crimea: two Simferopol-Moscow, Sevastopol-Moscow and Sevastopol-Murmansk.
The delay time is from 1.5 to 5 hours. “We are doing our best to get on the schedule. By the time the train arrives at the final station, the delay can be significantly reduced, ”the carrier notes.
Recall that at night the Crimean authorities reported an “emergency” in the area of the 145th pillar of the Crimean bridge and the suspension of traffic on the bridge, as well as the ferry crossing, the details of the incident have not yet been disclosed. Residents of the peninsula and tourists were asked to choose an alternative overland route. The Ministry of Transport reported that there is damage to the roadway on the spans of the bridge from the Crimean side. “The structures of the spans themselves are on their supports,” the department noted.
Later, the NAC reported that the partial collapse of one span of the Crimean bridge was due to an attack by Ukrainian drones. A criminal case has been opened about the terrorist attack.
