A new admission process to universities and institutes begins the afternoon of this Thursday, December 2, 2021 and ends at 11:30 p.m. on the 4 of the same month, in which the first stage corresponding to the phase of access to education will be developed. higher.

The students who will be able to carry out this step are only those who participated in a previous admission process and wish to participate in the current academic period, as long as they are within the following three groups: people who accepted a place in a previous call, those who signed up to take the Transform test and did not show up or did not take it.

Likewise, those who do not have a current score, that is, they have not taken an evaluation in 2020 or 2021.

The return of access to Higher Education will be made on the Senescyt website: transformar.senescyt.gob.ec, where interested parties must enter and select one of the thirteen specific cases, which are available at admission.senescyt. gob.ec so that students can review them in advance and thus be able to take the test successfully.

Once the application has been sent, the Senescyt emphasized that applicants will not be able to enter a second request, in addition, applications will not be received physically, but only through the indicated web portal and on the established dates.

Also, within the period provided for the return to access to higher education, applicants may register if they are part of affirmative actions for gender or sexual violence. With this they will obtain additional points in their application; likewise, persons of foreign nationality may update their identity document.

People who do not perform this step

According to the Secretariat, the people who should not carry out the procedure to return to access to higher education are those who participated in previous periods and have not obtained a place in the National Leveling and Admission System.

Neither do those who have a Bachelor’s degree, EAES or Transform test from the first ordinary academic period 2020 to the second ordinary academic period 2021. Likewise, those who never took an evaluation of access to Higher Education are exonerated from complying with this procedure. (I)
