74% of Russians opposed the use of nuclear weapons during the military operation in Ukraine, and 16% considered this option acceptable, according to a survey by the Russian Field sociological company.
According to RBC, the respondents were asked the question: “In your opinion, is it acceptable or unacceptable to use nuclear weapons if it is necessary to win the military operation in Ukraine?”
Of those who chose the “permissible” option, 5% specified that a nuclear strike could only be authorized if Russia was threatened with defeat. In addition, 5% of the survey participants found it difficult to answer, 4% offered other answers, 1% refused to answer.

Since the winter, the share of supporters of negotiations has increased by 4%.
The study was conducted by telephone survey, 1604 respondents participated in it during the period from 16 to 19 June.
