Dorys Aguilar, coordinator of the Chamber of Neighborhoods of Ambato, expressed her concern about this type of events that are registered in the center of the city. He recalled that less than a month ago in the same sector, another person was also killed by a firearm shot to the head.
“It is not understandable that these events occur in the center of Ambato, which was previously characterized as a city of peace and tranquility. That is why now we see with great desperation and above all with impotence the criminal acts of great magnitude, that is why the leaders of the neighborhoods and neighbors are astonished, ”said Aguilar.
He questioned the authorities of both the Government and the Municipality for not executing plans to eradicate the presence of sex workers in that area. Aguilar said that this activity brings with it the consumption of alcoholic beverages and drugs on public roads.
