The reason for the poisoning of children in Pervouralsk in the Sverdlovsk region was not drinks, but intoxication from drunk alcohol. This was reported in the press service of Rospotrebnadzor. According to the department, at the moment all the victims have been discharged from the hospital.
Department specialists conducted a study of alcohol consumed by minors. As a result, satisfactory results were obtained in terms of safety indicators. True, only one discrepancy was revealed: a dye not declared in the composition was found in the beer drink, a trial is underway with the manufacturer, the department noted.
According to the prosecutor’s office of the Sverdlovsk region, on Thursday a group of teenagers born in 2009 and 2010 in the village of Pilnaya Pervouralsk on the shore of the pond drank alcohol, which, at their request, was purchased for them by a 20-year-old friend. Ten teenagers were hospitalized due to alcohol poisoning, seven had ethanol in various concentrations in their tests.
