Some popular products cause serious harm to health. Oncourologist Mark Gadziyan warned about this, his post was published in the Telegram channel.

According to the specialist, store-bought sweets can cause cancer, as they often contain not only sugar, but also its various analogues, including fructose, syrups. At the same time, in terms of the glycemic index, sweets are champions – from 100 units. A significant saturation with fast carbohydrates makes this product an activator of the growth of adipose tissue, which can change metabolic processes and affect the entire body, the doctor explained. He added that sugar is also an excellent medium for feeding cancer cells.

Gadziyan noted that the risk of cancer is increased when foods containing added sugar are constantly consumed – desserts, processed foods, products containing non-natural additives in the form of preservatives, stabilizers, flavor enhancers, including ready-made sauces, mayonnaise and ketchup.

Cheap sauces contain trans fats, the doctor warned. He noted that all pastries from the store contain margarine, saturated with trans fats, which contribute to unwanted cellular mutations.
