Human beings have been changing for thousands of years. We adapted to nature, extreme changes and long periods of prosperity, which helped us to progress through the steppes in search of food, territories and exploration of the unknown. Innate curiosity and the desire to conquer spread us across the endless plains of this cosmic dust and lead us to want to conquer nearby planets. We reached the deep darkness of the ocean, to the tops of the mountains. We discover galaxies, black holes, twin planets, matter and antimatter, and sometimes we claim that in this infinity we are the only intelligent beings that inhabit it.

On August 20, the CNE began printing 39.6 million ballots for that process

We believed that we were the owners of creation, and often other human beings who were considered commodities, currency or slaves to our whims. We have justified wars in the name of gods who preach peace and humility, believing that we are their mouthpieces and the center of the universe.

We have invented the most sadistic ways to make others suffer in the name of country, religion or work. We were capable of sublime deeds, sublime acts of love, the most impressive challenges, the most daring explorations. We are capable of both the best and the worst. We are currently spending millions on trips that take us minutes outside Earth’s orbit, but we cannot overcome world hunger.

We have turned our little vital time into a time that measures what we want to achieve in close proximity to the acquisition of what many of us consider most important: power. Power over others, power over earnings, power over events, power over what we want others to think, say, choose.

The composition of the new Assembly is looming with dispersed organizations and a smaller presence of ID and PK

This power, which is given to many, is manifested in political power. For this reason, many prepare not to practice it, but to impose it. And we are in the hands of marketing, algorithms, slogans, songs, colors and symbols. That they shape our choices, which we believe are free and personal, in a product whose threads are controlled by others.

Our ability to distinguish the trees in the forest is reduced by a certain fatigue…

This small and beautiful country is preparing for us citizens to elect a government that we believe will lead us to better days, to the present and the future with better opportunities to live justly, righteously and joyfully.

Our ability to distinguish the trees in the forest is diminished by a certain weariness and negligence that tends to invade our most intimate spaces.

We are surrounded by our loves and friendships, relationships with beings we care about, meetings and words. Art and culture. We are not alone in this adventure: we continue, like our old people, gathered around the fire, gathered around the latest news on social networks, the latest tragedy, the latest incomprehensible decisions of corrupt judges or work gossip, variety show, neighborhood. And we try to find the way with the only magnifying glass that really serves us: to get to know the life and actions of those who want to rule us and see if what they say matches what they did, did and proposed. If they are what they say they are, then we as a society are what we want to be. (OR)
