In Yekaterinburg, they found the body of a six-year-old boy, whose disappearance was reported the day before. This was reported by the investigating authorities of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the region.
According to investigators, the death of the child occurred a few months ago, while the adoptive mother hid it, said Anatoly Nadbitov, acting head of the SUSK of Russia in the Sverdlovsk region, he was quoted by RIA Novosti
The day before, the police received a message that a six-year-old boy had left in an unknown direction from an apartment in Yekaterinburg. More than 1.5 thousand specialists and volunteers were involved in the search for the boy, more than 1.8 thousand people were interviewed. A criminal case has been initiated.
Later, investigators detained the boy’s guardian, as the police suspected that the woman might be involved in the disappearance of the child. According to investigators, she hid the fact of the child’s death from social workers.
Another criminal case has been opened on the fact of a possible malfeasance by employees of the guardianship authorities, the law enforcement agencies specified.
