The case of the June 27 armed rebellion was closed, the FSB Public Relations Center reports.

According to the report, during the investigation of the rebellion, it was found that its participants “stopped actions directly aimed at committing a crime.”

In turn, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that PMC Wagner is preparing to transfer heavy military equipment to units of the Russian Armed Forces, TASS reports.

Recall that on Saturday the headquarters of the Southern Military District in Rostov-on-Don was captured by the PMC Wagner. This happened against the backdrop of statements by Yevgeny Prigozhin about allegedly inflicted by the Russian Armed Forces missile and bomb attacks on PMC camps – this, however, was denied by both the Ministry of Defense and the FSB. As a result, a criminal case was opened against Prigozhin for organizing an armed rebellion. In turn, Russian President Vladimir Putin called the actions of the “Wagnerites” a criminal adventure.

Later, the press service of the President of Belarus reported that Alexander Lukashenko held talks with Prigozhin and he accepted his proposal to stop the Wagner movement in Russia and take further steps to de-escalate. As Putin’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov stated after that, Prigozhin would leave for Belarus, and the criminal case would be dropped.
