Some so-called foods are “more dangerous” than sugar, which increase belly fat rapidly and uncontrollably. This was told by a surgeon-urologist, andrologist, oncourologist, candidate of medical sciences Mark Gadziyan, he is quoted by RG.ru.
According to him, the “liquid” calories that the body receives from a number of drinks, such as alcohol, are of particular danger. Gadziyan explained that one of the features of alcohol is a high glycemic index, which is higher than that of sugar. At the same time, the calories obtained with alcohol instantly go into the blood.
A person can quickly gain excess fat by regularly allowing himself portions of alcohol, and he does not need any desserts or sweet tea, the doctor noted.
He also warned about the dangers of beer, which, according to him, contains phytoestrogens, an analogue of female sex hormones. As a result, in men who drink beer in liters, a female type of obesity is formed.
Carbonated drinks, energy drinks and fruit juices are also harmful – they pose a danger to the brain, the doctor added. He noted that “the presence of brominated vegetable oil (food additive E443) in soda can cause nervous breakdown and memory loss when the substance accumulates in the body in a certain amount.”
