In Crimea, three people were injured in the explosion of a gas cylinder in a car, Oleg Kryuchkov, adviser to the head of Crimea, said on his Telegram channel.
According to him, the incident occurred at 4:00 in the urban-type settlement of Mirny at the turn from the Evpatoria highway. All victims with burns of varying degrees were taken to the sixth city hospital in Simferopol.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Crimea, the driver of a Toyota Land Cruiser, while driving along the Evpatoria highway, ran into an obstacle, after which the cylinder caught fire. The progress of the check on the fact of the incident is controlled by the prosecutor’s office of the republic.
According to the Baza telegram channel, Vladimir Epifanov, assistant to the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Development of the Zaporozhye region and United Russia candidate, drove a Toyota Land Cruiser. His secretary and bodyguard were also in the salon. All three men received 30% burns to their heads, torsos and arms, the channel writes. The guard also received a burn on his left leg.
At the same time, according to the deputy prime minister’s assistant, the day before, the gas cylinder was checked at a service station in Simferopol.
