What to do during an earthquake

Also remember to always have an emergency backpack ready by the door of your house, with clothes, water, medicines, food.

Earthquakes, earthquakes, earthquakes or natural disasters can become a stressful time, so the authorities remember what to take into account in case of eventual tragedies.

One of the first recommendations is to always be alert to dangers to the family, so safe places in the house should be identified.

Remember that there is no way to predict an earthquake, therefore stay abreast of official information, avoid spreading rumors and hoaxes.

One recommendation is to have clothing in your emergency backpack to use in times of emergency, for example if the event occurs at midnight and to have sports shoes always ready by the front door of your home.

According to the Ecuadorian Risk Management Secretariat, if you participate in an evacuation, you must do it slowly and silently.
