Food prices, salary levels, the fate of our country and everything, absolutely everything, is determined by decisions and political commitments. But politics is not impartial: it responds, depending on the case, to the interests of different social classes. Each of them has certain economic and political interests and tries to impose its views on society as a whole. For this reason, politics is not one.

It is necessary to take into account that among the candidates for the Presidency, two represent right-wing political parties that already had the opportunity to be in Carondelet (correísmo and PSC, which supports Jan Topić). While the other candidates include Yaku Pérez, who has the support of social organizations and parties, such as Unidad Popular, Partido Socialista and Democracia Sí, which did not reach Carondelet, and is a candidate of democratic and leftist tendencies. In the case of former MP Daniel Noboa, he is the son of businessman Álvaro Noboa. While the candidate Otto Sonnenholzner was the Vice President of the Moreno Government; and Fernando Villavicencio, also a former member of the assembly and close to the current government of Guillermo Lasso.
