In Russia, they detained former employees of the military-industrial complex, who, according to the FSB of the Russian Federation, collaborated with Ukrainian intelligence. This was reported to the security service.
According to the FSB, the detainees handed over technical documentation and samples of military products to Kyiv, which are used in the creation of weapons and military equipment used in Russia. They were also suspected of preparing for explosions on the railway in the Kursk and Belgorod regions – according to the FSB, they were going to damage facilities used “to supply units of the RF Armed Forces participating in a special military operation in Ukraine.” It is specified that during the searches, the security forces seized 4 kg of explosives, four fuses, design documentation and “military products”, as well as $150,000.
The number of detainees and personal details were not disclosed.
The FSB calls the detainees “agents” of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry. Cases of treason and preparation for sabotage were initiated against them.
