The US Department of Commerce has imposed export restrictions on 50 organizations from China, the United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, South Africa, the United Kingdom, Kenya, Laos, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand. This is stated in the notice posted in the collection of official documents of the American government, reports TASS.
At the same time, the Latvian organization Fiber Optic Solutions was excluded from the black list.
As follows from the message, the Bureau of Industry and Security, which is part of the US Department of Commerce, “includes 31 structures from China, 1 from Kenya, 1 from Laos, 1 from Malaysia, 4 from Pakistan, 1 from Singapore, 3 from South Africa, 1 from Thailand , 5 from the UAE and 2 from the UK” to their blacklist.
The list, in particular, included Frontier Services Group Ltd, which was previously headed by an American entrepreneur and founder of the Blackwater private military campaign, which later changed its name several times, Eric Prince. Restrictions were placed on her for training Chinese military pilots and other activities that “threaten US national security.” The list also includes a flight school from South Africa, the Test Flying Academy, which, according to Washington, attracts former British military pilots to train Chinese military personnel.
The US administration believes that all of the organizations included in the list are involved in “activities directed against the national security and foreign policy interests of the United States.”
