The Ukrainian authorities are preparing for the next meeting in the Ramstein format with the teams of the ministries of defense of the Netherlands, Denmark, the United States and other countries. It will be held on June 15, said the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov, departments in the Telegram channel.
According to the minister, the details and effectiveness of the “air coalition” will become a priority topic during the meeting. The countries will discuss the training of pilots, technicians and engineers who will maintain the aircraft. Kyiv will also raise the topic of strengthening air defense, ammunition and artillery shells, Reznikov added and expressed the hope that hubs for repairing and equipping equipment will appear on the territory of Ukraine.
It should be noted that Ukraine calls on allies to provide it with Western-style combat aircraft. So far, no country has announced the transfer of modern combat aircraft to Ukraine, but many are ready to teach Ukrainian pilots to fly such fighters, including the United States that they will take part in the training of Ukrainian pilots on fourth-generation aircraft, including the F-16.
