According to the agency, the incident occurred on the evening of June 8, 2023. During the movement of the attraction, girls aged 6 and 11 hit the elements of the carousel due to sudden emergency braking. As a result, they received various injuries and were taken to a medical facility, where doctors provided them with the necessary medical care.
A criminal case has been initiated under the article on the provision of services that do not meet safety requirements. It is noted that all the circumstances of the incident will be studied and a legal assessment will be given to the actions of all persons for the proper provision of entertainment services. Evidence is being collected in the case.
The prosecutor’s office of the region clarifies that the incident occurred on the roller coaster “Galaktika”. According to open sources, the attraction is a classic roller coaster – sharp turns, dead loops at a speed of 55 km / h, as well as a rapid fall from a height of 14 meters. The maximum number of people in a trailer is four.
