90 people suffered from surrogate alcohol poisoning in Russia. This is reported by TASS with reference to the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.
According to the department, among the victims were 4 minors and one pregnant woman.
Recall that the poisoning of residents of several Russian regions, including fatalities, became known the day before. Most of the cases are associated with the use of an alcohol-containing drink produced in Samara “Mr. Cider”.
So, in the Samara region, nine people died from surrogate alcohol poisoning, in the Ulyanovsk region – 20. In Udmurtia, one death was recorded.
Criminal cases have been initiated. Investigators detained a 32-year-old individual entrepreneur from the Samara region, the owner of Andi LLC, which produces Mister Cider, the use of which caused a wave of poisonings. He is arrested. Cider is withdrawn from sale.
In connection with the mass poisoning, criminal cases were initiated.
Today it became known that a court in Ulyanovsk arrested a Samara businessman for two months, who was accused of producing surrogate cider. He himself did not admit guilt.
