In the Samara region, the number of victims of poisoning with surrogate cider has increased to seven people. There are more than 13 poisoned people in the hospital, the regional Ministry of Health specified.
Earlier it was reported about two dead in the Samara region, 14 injured.
Also, a man who was poisoned by surrogate cider died in a hospital in Udmurtia, Deputy Prime Minister of the regional government Elvira Pinchuk said on her Telegram channel. According to her, another woman remains in the hospital in serious condition.
On the eve it was reported about one dead in Udmurtia, another injured.
Recall that most of the cases of poisoning with draft cider were recorded in the Ulyanovsk region – 18 deaths are known. Also in the Nizhny Novgorod region, as noted by law enforcement agencies, two people died from cider, four more were injured. In the Penza region, three people, including two teenagers, were hospitalized with alcohol poisoning. All the injured and dead drank cider.
A criminal case has been initiated.
