Russian President Vladimir Putin is open to discussing ways to achieve Russia’s goals beyond a special military operation in Ukraine, presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said. He also added that “if it is possible, it will be preferable,” RBC reports.
Nevertheless, according to Peskov, “the countries of the collective West at the moment leave us no other choice.” The Kremlin spokesman said that the conflict has become “wider”, the West is waging a “combined war” against Russia, and Ukraine has become an “instrument” with which negotiations are “unpromising”.
Recall, announcing the start of the NWO, Putin called its goal the “demilitarization” and “denazification” of Ukraine, as well as the protection of the civilian population of Donbass from “genocide”. In the summer of that year, he stated that the ultimate goal was “the liberation of Donbass, the protection of these people and the creation of conditions that would guarantee the security of Russia itself.” In September, he called Moscow’s intention to eliminate the “anti-Russian enclave” that he said was being created in Ukraine.
Peskov, in turn, called one of the goals of the military operation the prevention of Ukraine’s entry into NATO. Putin also said that one of Moscow’s goals is the neutral status of Ukraine – so that “a threat never comes from its territory.”
