You can forget about stress and insomnia with the right diet. So say nutritionists, who are quoted by Kuban 24.

Experts have compiled a list of foods that need to be included in the diet for stress. The list includes a banana, which contains tryptophan, an important element in the synthesis of serotonin (happiness hormone) and melatonin (sleep hormone). Fish should also be included in the diet: it contains a lot of antioxidants, healthy fats and omega-3s, and vitamin D works as an anti-stress in fish, which energizes, stimulates the thyroid gland and improves mood.

Nutritionists also suggest paying attention to oranges, lemons, tangerines, grapefruits and other citrus fruits. Vitamin C contained in them invigorates, protects brain cells and stimulates the production of dopamine – the hormone of pleasure.

Reduces anxiety and avocado. This product also normalizes the functioning of the nervous system and fights chronic fatigue. Avocados are high in vitamin E, B vitamins, folic acid, and omega-3s.
