The US Secret Service is working to make the house of US President Joe Biden bulletproof. According to TASS, Biden told reporters about this before flying from Washington to his residence in Camp David (Maryland).
“The reason I’m going to Camp David is because <…> The secret service is now working on my house, making the house bulletproof. So don’t go home. They said that I would not be able to return for five weeks. So I’m going to Camp David because my granddaughter’s prom is on Sunday, and that’s the closest thing I can come to her prom,” Biden said. The US Secret Service is responsible for the protection of the first persons of the state.
The American leader did not specify what kind of house he was talking about. Biden often spends his weekends in Delaware, where several of his family’s homes are located.
In April, Biden announced that the Secret Service would install bulletproof windows at his home in Wilmington, Delaware.
