Attendees to the election of the Queen of Quito must present a card or proof of covid, in addition to wearing a mask and maintaining social distancing.
With 60% of the capacity of the National Theater of the House of Ecuadorian Culture and more measures arranged by the control bodies, the gala event for the election of the new “Queen of San Francisco de Quito 2021-2022” will be held. this Thursday, November 25, from 7:45 p.m.
The Queen of San Francisco de Quito 2021-2022, to the Viceroy of San Francisco de Quito, Miss Confraternity, Miss Sympathy by a jury, and Miss Friendship, which will be chosen by all the candidates.
According to the Reina de Quito Foundation, organizer of the event, rigid biosecurity measures will be applied among attendees, who will enter the theater after presenting the complete vaccination card against covid19 or the respective PCR test. Likewise, it will be required to have KN95 masks, which must be kept in place throughout the event. In addition to admission, more masks will be distributed and social distancing will be applied to ensure 100% the safety of the attendees.

The The election will be broadcast from 7:45 p.m. on Teleamazonas and it will last approximately 1h10.
The candidates will have three outings on stage: The first will be in a casual outfit with hand-made fabrics and textiles of typical Otavalo colors and textures by designer Jessica Velasco; the second with cocktail dresses from the Renacer – Reina de Quito Collection by designer Lucía Banderas de Azzar; and the third with a gala dress made by Ecuadorian designers Milú Espinoza, Mónica Pérez, José Arroyo, Julia García and Daniela Dueñas.
In this last outing the girls will have to answer the question about their projects of the masters of ceremony that this time will be Ale Boada and Milton Pérez, well-known faces of Teleamazonas. Five people will be part of the qualifying jury and will be supported by the audit of the company PWC Ecuador and to attest will be the presence of Notary Public Number 15, Juan Carlos Morales.
The program also includes the artistic intervention of the Forzavú choir and the serenade offered by national artists Daniel Páez, Karla Kanora and Joshue.
