Two vehicles were hit at the intersection of Antepara and El Oro streets, in the south of Guayaquil.
As a result of the crash, one of the vehicles ended up diverting towards a home and caused damage to a wall, a pillar and a rolling door, around 03:00 on Thursday 25.
On the site, personnel from the Traffic and Mobility Agency (ATM) mentioned that one of the drivers would be in an alcoholic state, for which he was transferred to the Prosecutor’s Office.
Meanwhile, the other driver was injured and had to be taken to a medical home with the support of paramedics from the Fire Department.
The owner of the affected property asked that they take charge of the damage caused to their home.
Also, this morning, on Juan Tanca Marengo avenue another accident was reported.
A truck that moved drawers with shrimp overturned in said road artery.
Police personnel were mobilized to the area to prevent the theft of the cargo.
After several minutes, workers used shovels and sacks to remove the shrimp from the road. (I)
